"Volunteers contribute to healthy communities"

Miramichi Lodge has long recognized the valuable contributions volunteers make to
enrich the lives of the residents.  Volunteers support a wide variety of activities such as one-to-one visiting, accompaniment to shopping and medical appointments, crafts, horticulture, musical entertainment, seasonal events and outings.  The Miramichi Lodge Auxiliary operate a gift shop within the Lodge, hours of operation are posted on the Gift Shop window.  They also organize a number of monthly programs for the residents as well as several fundraising events throughout the year.  There are many opportunities to share talent, skills and time such as helping with activities, feeding, pastoral program, medical escorts etc. If interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact the Client Programs Supervisor at:  (613) 735-4693 ext 122.

- Planning For The Future -

The Foundation works to raise funds to provide for the extras that enhance the lives of the residents living at the Home.  The Board works collaboratively with the Home to plan special fundraising events and increase community awareness.

Foundation In Memoriam

In memoriam donations create a lasting tribute to a loved one and you may find comfort in the thought that your gift has truly made a difference.  In memoriam cards are available at Miramichi Lodge and all local funeral homes.

A tax receipt will be issued for all donations made in memory of a loved one and donations may be forwarded to:

Miramichi Lodge Auxiliary

The Miramichi Lodge Auxiliary provides a great deal of assistance to the facility in providing the important extras that bring comfort, enjoyment and better quality of life to the residents. They currently operate a Gift shop within the Home and organize a number of monthly programs for the residents as well as many fundraising events throughout the year. 

Students

Miramichi Lodge supports the involvement and participation of co-op training programs from high schools, colleges and universities.
