|
The Adult/Senior Day Program at
Bonnechere Manor was opened in 1997 with the program expanding with
two satellite sites in May 2001 in Cobden and Eganville and a third site opened in Beachburg in 2004. These
programs provides
structured and supervised social and recreational activities that
are both meaningful and entertaining for the individual. These
activities contribute to supporting individuals in their own homes
by assisting them to function at their optimum level and remain
living in the community. For those who live alone, the program
prevents loneliness, isolation and boredom. Individuals who are
caring for a senior/adults in the home setting need caregiver
support, which is accompanied through the program. The caregiver can
rest assured that their loved one is being cared for in a supportive
environment through caring staff members.
