Renfrew County Housing Corporation

Legislation was approved in the fall of 2000 to allow the transfer of public housing to the municipal level. The County of Renfrew, as Service Manager, is now responsible for the coordination of access to social housing. The Renfrew County Housing Corporation was created to manage the day-to-day operations of the public housing portfolio and ensure that the service levels to tenants are maintained as per the Social Housing Reform Act 2000.

There are presently three Renfrew County Housing Corporation office sites that provide assistance to individuals seeking assistance. They are located in Arnprior, Renfrew, and Pembroke. Persons applying for Social Housing may obtain application forms at any of the three offices. In addition, applications are available through seven Housing Providers.
