WHEREAS the Municipal Act, 2001, Sections 8, 9 and 11, authorizes Council to enter into agreements for the purpose of leasing;
WHEREAS the Corporation of the County of Renfrew deems it desirable to enter into a lease agreement with the Municipal Corporation of the Township of Killaloe, Hagarty & Richards for the use of the ground floor premises situated at 47 Miller Street, Killaloe for Provincial Offences Court sittings purposes; and
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the County of Renfrew wishes to enter into a lease for a five-year term commencing on January 1, 2012 and terminating on December 31, 2016 with the Municipal Corporation of the Township of Killaloe, Hagarty & Richards; and
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the County of Renfrew hereby enacts as follows:
1. That the lease agreement marked as Schedule “A” attached to and made part of this by-law shall constitute an agreement between the Corporation of the County of Renfrew, (Tenant) and the Municipal Corporation of the Township of Killaloe, Hagarty & Richards (Landlord).
2. That the Warden and Clerk are hereby empowered to do and execute all things, papers, and documents necessary to the execution of this by-law.
3. That By-law Number 7-01 enacted on the 31st day of January, 2001 is hereby repealed.
4. That this by-law shall come into force and take effect upon the passing thereof.
READ a first time this 31st day of October 2013.
READ a second time this 31st day of October 2013.
READ a third time and finally passed this 31st day of October 2013.
