Wow, it is already early spring 2012. I like most, would welcome another winter like this last one but for now that is at least two more seasons away. Our focus for 2012 has been leadership training for the entire management team. We have partnered with the Ken Blanchard group of companies and are in the early stages of implementing the "Situational leadership II" training to our entire management team. The basics of this leadership training model require no one consistent approach to leadership but rather adjusting your leadership style to the growth and development level of each individual you manage. It also promotes more individual employee independence and autonomy. We are in the early stages of this long term program with our management team and employees and now it is time to "walk the talk" in applying the principles of SLII. Time will tell, but we have bought into the concepts of SLII and are looking forward to moving our entire workforce forward by applying the principles of SLII from the CAO's office across the entire corporation.
