County of Renfrew Official Land Use Plan
The Council of the Corporation of the County of Renfrew adopted an Official Land Use Plan for the County of Renfrew on March 27, 2002. The County Official Plan was approved with modifications by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing on June 16, 2003.
With public and municipal input, the County of Renfrew prepared an Official Land Use Plan that incorporates local land use policies and required provincial policies. The purpose of the Plan is to provide a policy framework for growth and development within the County of Renfrew to the year 2015, while taking into consideration important social, economic and environmental matters. The County Official Plan will provide a comprehensive policy framework for those municipalities that elect to use the County Plan for land use planning matters. The following local municipalities have opted to utilize the County Official Plan as their Official Plan:
