Horton Township is
situated between the Ottawa River and the Town of Renfrew, 45 minutes west of
Kanata. Considered a rural municipality, it has areas of urban population adjacent
to Renfrew and along the Ottawa River. Horton Township has approximately 40
hectares (100 acres) of vacant land pre-zoned Commercial and Commercial Reserve. These lands,
situated on Provincial Highway 60 and Gillan Road, are awaiting your development. Both areas are adjacent to the Town of Renfrew
and are on
major transportation routes.
Horton has untapped recreational potential with 16 km (10 miles) of Ottawa River
waterfront and breathtaking high ridge views overlooking the River and the Province of Quebec. With the anticipated
completion of the four lanes to Highway 17, Horton will be within 45 minutes of Silicon
Valley North. While small enough to know you on a first name basis, we are large enough to meet your
needs. |
