Reeve Norm Lentz is one of the longer serving members of County Council. Norm started out way back in 1975 as a Councillor for Raglan Township. Norm first served on County Council beginning in 1994 as the Reeve of Raglan Township. Following amalgamation in 1999, Norm has been the Reeve of the Brudenell, Lyndoch & Raglan Township and its representative on County Council. Norm is proud of the cooperative work of County Council and points to the Council’s support of local beef producers when it created the Support Our Beef Committee during the BSE Crisis. Prior to politics, Norm worked for Newman Lumber, and was a millwright for 22 of those years. Norm has two grown children. When Norm is not trying to solve local issues, and if you need to contact him, your best bet is to trek into the woods because Norm takes every chance to enjoy his favourite past-time: hunting!
