WHERE: PEMBROKE WALMART MAIN ENTRANCE 1108 PEMBROKE STREET EAST, LAURENTIAN VALLEY, ON

The County of Renfrew Paramedic Service will be collecting toys and food for local children at the main entrance of the Walmart in Pembroke on Pembroke Street East. This will be the First Annual Toy Drive spearheaded by local Paramedics in Pembroke, and is a reflection of the success the service has seen with the same initiative at the Renfrew location for the last 8 years. Everyone is encouraged to drop by with a new unwrapped toy donation, food item, or cash donation to help vulnerable children and families in our community. The annual food and toy drive is in support of the St. Joseph’s Food Bank, and the Kiwanis Club of Pembroke.
Help us ensure that local children and families have a Merry Christmas!
Since 2011 the County of Renfrew Paramedics and volunteers have collected 2,339 toys, 4,501 items of food, and $17,434.47 in cash donations at their Annual Toy Drive in Renfrew and they are hoping to build a similar success in Pembroke beginning this year.
