Upcoming Projects
County Road 9 (Bulger Road) – Township of Admaston Bromley & North Algona Wilberforce
Construction on Bulger Road, from Agnew Road to McGaghran Road, is expected to start September 8, 2026, and is anticipated to be completed mid to late October. During construction, parts of Bulger Road will be limited to a single lane, with lights or workers directing traffic.
County Road 70 (Ruby Road) – Township of Bonnechere Valley
Construction on Ruby Road, from Wolfe Road to Zadow Road, is expected to start September 8, 2026, and is anticipated to be completed late October. During construction, parts of Ruby Road will be limited to a single lane, with lights or workers directing traffic.
C149 (Olsheski Creek Culvert) – Township of Madawaska Valley
Construction on Olsheski Creek Culvert, located on Stanley Olsheski Road, approximately 0.7 kilometers east of Old Barry’s Bay Road, is expected to start early October and is anticipated to be completed mid October. During construction, the road will be limited to a single lane, with lights or workers directing traffic.
C146 (McPhee Road Culvert) – Township of Madawaska Valley
Construction on McPhee Road Culvert, located on McPhees Bay Road, about 0.5 kilometres south of County Road 515 (Palmer Road), is expected to start mid-September and is anticipated to be completed by October. During construction, the road will be limited to a single lane, with lights or workers directing traffic.
Ongoing Projects
County Road 14 (Witt Road) – Township of Laurentian Valley
Construction on Witt Road, from County Road 56 (Woito Station Road) to County Road 26 (Doran Road), started June 29, 2026, and is anticipated to be completed early-September. During construction, parts of Witt Road will be limited to a single lane, with lights or workers directing traffic.
County Road 52 (Raglan Street South) – Town of Renfrew
Construction to replace a culvert on Raglan Street, 90 metres south of Highway 60, started August 17, 2026, and is anticipated to be completed mid September. Remaining operations include reinstatement of steel beam guide rail and pavement markings. During construction this area of Raglan Street will be limited to a single lane, with lights or workers directing traffic.
County Road 508 (Calabogie Road) – Townships of Greater Madawaska and McNab/Braeside
Brushing and culvert replacements have been completed. The remainder of construction on Calabogie Road, from Fleming Road to County Road 52 (Burnstown Road), started August 17, 2026, and is anticipated to be completed late-October. During construction, parts of Calabogie Road will be limited to a single lane, with lights or workers directing traffic.
County Structure B091 (Danny Constant Bridge) – Township of Bonnechere Valley
Construction on Danny Constant Bridge, on Constant Lake Road, about 1.8 kilometres west of Highway 41, started September 1, 2026, and is anticipated to be completed mid-October. During construction the road at this location will remain closed to all traffic, with a signed detour in place. There will be no pedestrian access during the project.
County Structure B103 (O’Grady Bridge) – Township of Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards
Construction on O’Grady Bridge, on O’Grady Settlement Road, about 5.0 kilometres west of Brudenell Road, started August 17, 2026, and is anticipated to be completed late-September. During construction, the road at this location will remain closed to all traffic, with a signed detour in place. There will be no pedestrian access during the project.
County Structure B121 (Waba Creek Bridge) – Township of McNab/Braeside
Construction on Waba Creek Bridge, on County Road 2 (White Lake Road), about 0.8 kilometres west of County Road 23 (Highland Road), started July 2, 2026, and is anticipated to be completed mid-September. The signed detour was removed on August 29, 2026. For the remainder of construction, the road will be limited to a single lane, with lights or workers directing traffic.
County Structure B188 (Turcotte Bridge) – Township of Laurentian Valley
Construction on Turcotte Bridge, on Code Road, about 2.2 kilometres northeast of Micksburg Road, started July 22, 2026, and is anticipated to be completed late September. Remaining operations include the reinstatement of steel beam guiderail. The signed detour was removed on August 28, 2026. For the remainder of construction, the road will be limited to a single lane, with lights or workers directing traffic.
County Structure C201 (Broomes Creek Culvert & Dam) – Township of Whitewater Region
Construction on Broomes Creek Culvert and Dam, located on County Road 7 (Foresters Falls Road), about 0.1 kilometres east of Foresters Falls, resumed May 4, 2026, with work nearing completion. The signed detour was removed on September 1, 2026. For the remainder of construction, the road will be limited to a single lane, with lights or workers directing traffic.
Completed Projects
County Roads 1 (River Road) and 20 (Castleford Road) – Township of Horton
Construction on River Road, from Castleford Road to Grantham Road, and Castleford Road, from River Road to Humphries Road, was completed August 7, 2026.
County Road 26 (Doran Road) – Township of Laurentian Valley
Construction on Doran Road, from County Road 42 (Forest Lea Road) to Highway 17. Work was complete August 27, 2026, with line painting to follow.
County Road 653 (Chenaux Road) – Township of Whitewater Region
Construction on Chenaux Road, from Highway 17 to Camp Galilee Lane. Work was completed August 21, 2026, with line painting to follow.
