The County of Renfrew (the County) has identified the expansion of County Road 51 (Petawawa Boulevard), from County Road 55 (Paquette Road) to County Road 26 (Doran Road), a distance of approximately 1.1 kilometres, as a priority construction project in the next 1 – 5 years. 

Additionally, planning for the future infrastructure expansion needs due to traffic growth on Petawawa Boulevard, from Doran Road to County Road 37 (Murphy Road), a distance of approximately 1.4 kilometres, is considered necessary.

Submissions submitted to the County of Renfrew Public Works and Engineering (the “Department”) must be received by 2:00 p.m. local time on August 11, 2026 using ‘Bids & Tenders’ electronic tendering platform for the project, located at

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS for the Construction of Algonquin Trail (AT1842) from Bissett Creek to Deux Rivieres, a distance of 20 Kms in the Township of Head, Clara & Maria, submitted to the County of Renfrew Public Works and Engineering (the “Department”) must be received by 2:00 p.m. local time on August 18, 2026 using ‘Bids & Tenders’ electronic tendering platform for the project, located at Bids and Tenders - County of Renfrew (https://countyofrenfrew.bidsandtenders.ca/Module/Tenders/en/Home/BidsHomepage).

The County of Renfrew will not be responsible for late submissions.

Bidders that wish to submit a tender for this contract must register through Bids and Tenders - County of Renfrew to receive the tender documents and to be eligible to submit a tender. Tenders submitted by unregistered bidders will not be accepted.

Electronic PDF files of the plans, specifications and tender form are available for download free of charge for registered bidders. Hard copy plans, Specifications and Tender forms may be obtained from the Department for a non-refundable fee of One hundred (100) Dollars.

There will be no public tender opening, unofficial results will be available on Bids and Tenders - County of Renfrew.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted and the County of Renfrew reserves the right to award any portion of the work or none of the work.
