Public Input Request – Renaming of County Structure B258 from Madawaska River Bridge to William Baird Bridge

The County of Renfrew has received a request to rename County Structure B258, located on County Road 1 (Madawaska Boulevard), approximately 100 metres east of County Road 2 (Daniel Street), over the Madawaska River in the Town of Arnprior.

The current name of the bridge is the Madawaska River Bridge and the proposed new name is William Baird Bridge. 

Comments or concerns regarding the name change may be submitted to pwande@countyofrenfrew.on.ca, and will be accepted until 1 p.m. on October 19, 2026.
