A Message from the County of Renfrew - Stay-At-Home Order
Re: Provincewide Stay-At-Home Order, COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus)
Pembroke: The County of Renfrew along with local municipalities, the Renfrew County and District Health Unit, and Renfrew County Virtual Triage Centre are continuing to work collectively to ensure that all measures are being taken to protect our residents, and staff during this difficult time. The County of Renfrew remains committed to providing services to our residents in a timely and efficient manner during the continuing pandemic.
“Renfrew County residents have worked hard over these last several months to protect their own health and that of our community’s most vulnerable. I ask that everyone remain vigilant about their safety and wellbeing both physically and mentally as this pandemic continues. I know it hasn’t been easy for many in our community during these difficult times. Vaccinations are happening and with your continued efforts of following health guidelines we shall come through this in time, “shared Warden Debbie Robinson. “I also want residents to be assured that the County of Renfrew, along with all the local municipalities in the County, continue to make every effort to provide support where and when needed in our community,” she added.
All essential services continue to be offered, including regular road maintenance, Emergency Services (ambulance), Community Services and Housing, and development permits.
- In the interest of public safety, County of Renfrew buildings continue to not allow public walk-in access until further notice. Services are continuing to be provided to the public via alternate communication methods. We are asking the public to continue conducting their communications with us via telephone, email, or through pre-arranged appointments. As a matter of personal and public safety, the County of Renfrew asks residents to follow the direction of public health officials, including maintaining physical distancing, frequent hand washing, face coverings, and other directives as they evolve. In addition, the County of Renfrew encourages our personnel to be vaccinated when eligible, and to frequently monitor the Renfrew County and District Health Unit and provincial guidance related to COVID-19.
The County of Renfrew will continue to post all necessary and pertinent information to the County’s website, Facebook and Twitter Feeds, and update the local media on a regular basis.
