Bonnechere Manor
Residents can choose between a private, semi-private or a basic (shared) room. The room rates are set by the Ministry of Long-Term Care and subject to change annually.
Our semi private rooms are 156 square feet and include a single bedroom with a shared bathroom.
Our basic rooms are 147 square feet and include a shared bedroom with privacy curtain and shared bathroom.
There are six resident home areas in the Bonnechere Manor that include:
- Small intimate units for 35 residents (two are specialized dementia care units for 20 residents)
- Spa containing a therapeutic tub, shower and ensuite washroom
- Access to gardens and walking paths
- Large, bright activity room (Dementia care unit has themed activity rooms – hunting lodge, garage/workshop, kitchen and laundry room)
- Centrally located home-like dining room
- Spacious lounge area
Miramichi Lodge
Residents can choose between a private room or a basic (shared) room. The rates for preferred (private) and basic accommodations are set by the Ministry of Long-Term Care and subject to change annually.
We offer 100 private rooms that are provide 180 square feet per resident.
Miramichi Lodge has 33 basic resident rooms, which include a private sleeping area separated by a wall / privacy curtain and a shared ensuite washroom with one other resident. These rooms provide 150 square feet per resident.
There are six resident home areas in Miramichi Lodge that include:
- Small intimate unit of 27 – 28 residents (two are specialized Dementia care units)
- Spa containing a therapeutic tub, shower and ensuite washroom, each with heated towel racks
- Access to outdoor terraces, secure gardens and walking paths that link the Kiwanis Walkway and Riverside Park
- Large, bright activity room
- Centrally located home-like dining room
- Sunroom with a fabulous view of the Ottawa River, Riverside Park and the community
- Spacious lounge area
Amenities
Bonnechere Manor and Miramichi Lodge make public areas of the Home available to the public on a cost-recovery basis.
