The County of Renfrew is responsible for approximately 816 km of road and 251 bridges and culverts. We offer an adopt-a-road program, conduct environmental assessments and work to maintain our roads for your safety.
Pursuant to Section 122 of the Highway Traffic Act and applicable Municipal By-Laws, reduced load limits on roads throughout the County of Renfrew will be in effect commencing Monday, March 4, 2024 at 12:01 a.m. until Friday, May 31, 2024 at 12:01 a.m., unless otherwise notified.
Vehicle loads will be restricted to 5 tonnes per axle on the roads where signs have been erected.
Haulers should contact the appropriate road authority to determine the spring load restrictions on local municipal roads.
