County of Renfrew County Council is comprised of the elected Mayors/Reeves of each of the 17 communities. The Warden is the head of County Council and is elected each year from amongst its membership.
As of 2025, Council operates under a Committee of the Whole Structure, which consists of five Committees: Health, Community Services, Corporate Services, Development and Property and Operations. Council and Committee Meetings are generally held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month starting at 9:30 a.m.
