COUNTY OF RENFREW: The OPP, MTO, County of Renfrew, and Town of Arnprior are working in cooperation in order to facilitate the demonstration passing along Highway 17, stopping in Arnprior on January 28th and continuing to Ottawa on January 29th, while limiting the risk to other road users and impact on traffic flows in the area.

In order to best accommodate the large volume of truck traffic in the demonstration, County Road 2 (Daniel Street & White Lake Road) will be closed from Baskin Drive to Campbell Drive with access only permitted to emergency vehicles and participants in the demonstration.

The road closure is anticipated to commence at 4 p.m. on Friday January 29th and end at midnight. A detour will be in place following Campbell Drive, Pine Grove Road, and County Road 10 (Baskin Drive West).

For further information on this closure please access the Municipal511 notification system at the below link: https://www.municipal511.ca/

Additional lane closures are anticipated the following morning to prioritize truck access to Highway 17.

Travel times through this area will be significantly impacted and travelers are advised to use alternate routes if able – thank you in advance for your cooperation.
