The 2025 Taste of the Valley event series once again kicks off in Eganville July 26, with the market featuring 85 vendors set up inside and outside the Eganville Arena from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is hosted in partnership with the Township of Bonnechere Valley.

The County of Renfrew’s Economic Development Division is proud to present the return of the Taste of the Valley event series – an annual celebration of all things grown, made, and created right here in Renfrew County.

Originally launched more than a decade ago to spotlight local food producers in the Ottawa Valley, Taste of the Valley has grown into a vibrant showcase of the region’s diverse offerings. Today, the event embraces a broader interpretation of “taste,” celebrating not only local food, but also handcrafted products, visual arts, and cultural experiences that reflect the unique spirit of our communities.

The 2025 season kicks off with the first of five Taste of the Valley events in Eganville on Saturday, July 26, being held at the Eganville Arena (178 Jane Street) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Eganville event will feature more than 85 vendors set up inside on the arena floor and outside in the parking lot of the arena. The offerings will include fresh local produce alongside unique handcrafted products from talented artists and artisans, as well as baked goods, prepared hot food, jams and preserves from bakers and food producers across Renfrew County.

“We are so excited to see Taste of the Valley come back to Bonnechere Valley in 2025,” said Bonnechere Valley Mayor Jennifer Murphy. “Taste of the Valley provides a wonderful opportunity to promote local producers and allows residents and visitors to shop local.”

Taste of the Valley events in 2025 are being held in partnership with the host municipalities:

  • Bonnechere Valley (July 26 – Eganville Arena)
  • Laurentian Valley (August 23 – Alice and Fraser Recreation Centre)
  • Greater Madawaska (September 20 – Calabogie Rink and Community Hall)
  • Whitewater Region (October 18 – Cobden Fairgrounds and Ag Hall)
  • Pembroke (December 13 Holiday Edition – Knights of Columbus Hall)

“Each Taste of the Valley event in the series offers residents and visitors alike the opportunity to connect with local farmers, artisans, and creators, while supporting the local economy and enjoying the best of what Renfrew County has to offer,” notes Scott Hamilton, Economic Development Coordinator with the County of Renfrew’s Economic Development Division.
