The County of Renfrew’s Economic Development Division is proud to present the fifth and final Taste of the Valley event of the 2025 series – an annual celebration of all things grown, made, and created right here in Renfrew County.
The Taste of the Valley Holiday Edition is taking place on Saturday, December 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in Pembroke at the Knights of Columbus Hall (170 Ellis Avenue, Pembroke).
Originally launched more than a decade ago to spotlight local food producers in the Ottawa Valley, Taste of the Valley has grown into a vibrant showcase of the region’s diverse offerings. Today, the event embraces a broader interpretation of “taste,” celebrating not only local food, but also handcrafted products, visual arts, and cultural experiences that reflect the unique spirit of our communities.
The Pembroke Holiday Edition will feature more than 55 vendors set up inside and outside the Knights of Columbus Hall and will include fresh local produce alongside unique handcrafted products from talented artists and artisans, as well as baked goods, prepared hot food, jams and preserves from bakers and food producers across Renfrew County. All Taste of the Valley events in 2025 are held in partnership with the host municipalities.
“Pembroke is excited to once again partner with the County and bring this special holiday edition of Taste of the Valley to our city,” says Pembroke Mayor Ron Gervais. “This event is a great way to support local artisans, farms, and artists, who provide so much vibrancy to our local economy.”
The Taste of the Valley Holiday Market is a joyful celebration of Renfrew County’s creativity and community spirit.
“This seasonal event invites residents and visitors to discover unique, locally made gifts, delicious treats, and handcrafted treasures; perfect for sharing the warmth of the holidays while supporting our talented artisans and vendors,” says David Wybou, Business Development Officer with the County of Renfrew’s Economic Development Division.
