A temporary water supply has been connected at Miramichi Lodge long-term care home following a large watermain break in the City of Pembroke earlier this week.

The County of Renfrew is pleased to confirm that a temporary water supply at Miramichi Lodge was successfully secured as of 9 p.m. Friday night, November 21, following the ongoing watermain disruption affecting parts of the City of Pembroke.
The long-term care home is now receiving a stable, non-potable water supply on-site. This temporary solution will remain in place for the duration of the disruption, which is anticipated to last two weeks, ensuring continuity of essential services within the home.

Miramichi Lodge continues to work closely with County of Renfrew Emergency Services, the City of Pembroke, and other external partners to maintain stability throughout the disruption and support ongoing response efforts.
