Pembroke, ON – The Ottawa Valley Tourist Association (OVTA) is excited to announce the return of the Ottawa Valley Tourism Conference, taking place Monday, November 3, 2025, at The River Barn in Foresters Falls.
This year’s theme, “Valley Voices: Shaping Tourism Together,” focuses on collaboration and building the future of tourism across the Ottawa Valley. Attendees can look forward to a day filled with provincial and regional updates as well as interactive sessions designed to spark new ideas and partnerships.
“We’re bringing tourism operators, community leaders, and destination partners together to share ideas and strengthen our industry,” says Stefi Van Wijk, OVTA Board Chair. “Our goal is to inspire fresh perspectives and continue positioning the Ottawa Valley as one of Ontario’s most welcoming and adventure-rich destinations.”
The conference will feature presentations from the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario (TIAO) and the Ontario’s Highlands Tourism Organization (OHTO), as well as a creative group session titled “Collaborate to Elevate.” Participants will also enjoy a graphic recording of the day by Swoop Media, a visual storytelling highlight that captures key takeaways in real time.
The tourism conference welcomes both members and non-members and is an opportunity for non-member tourism businesses to learn more about the Association and the benefits of free membership while networking with industry peers.
“Being a part of the OVTA community is invaluable to promoting your business as well as building your network,” says Honorary Board member, Chris Hinsperger. “I strongly encourage anyone with an interest in local tourism to attend.”
